It’s Time for Republicans to Unite

Whether you like or dislike President Trump, if you want to avoid four more years of the disastrous policies and decisions of Joe Biden, the time has come to unite behind the former president. The reason is simple: there is no pathway for Nikki Haley to win.

Several months ago, I predicted several things would happen and came close to calling them all accurately:

Chris Christie would suspend his campaign before Iowa. He did.

Vivek Ramaswamy would suspend his campaign and endorse Trump right after the Iowa caucus. He did.

Ron DeSantis would skip New Hampshire, since he would know he had no chance. He not only skipped New Hampshire, but also dropped out of the race entirely.

The mainstream media would spin how Haley could win New Hampshire by trying to help her campaign in one desperate move to see Trump take a loss. They did.

Despite their attempts, Haley would still lose New Hampshire to Trump. She did.

I was, however, off with my final prediction: that both Haley and DeSantis would hold on and stay in the race through South Carolina and would then exit.

The State of the 2024 Election

So where do we stand? Haley, to avoid a humiliating loss in her home state should do the same thing now. But I know how politicians can hold on to believing in dreams that will never come true so I expect her to stay in the race and my original prediction of a Trump win in South Carolina and an exit by Haley shortly thereafter will take place.

However long she wants to stay in the race and spend money that could be better used to help beat Joe Biden next November is her decision to make. Regardless of what she does, I believe for the good of the cause and the good of our country, all Republicans should now rally behind President Trump in his bid to win this election.

I get that you may not like Trump the man. You, like me, might have wished he could have been more “presidential” in his first term. You may not like how he handled the election results. The list of grievances is long. However, it’s time to focus solely on President Biden and his policies and where those policies have taken us versus where President Trump’s policies have taken us.

Focus on the fact that when Trump was president, our economy was stronger than it had been for over forty years.

Focus on when our borders were secure.

Focus on his policies that supported the police.

Focus on the fact that for the first time in 50 years, we were energy independent.

Focus on when our allies knew we had their backs and our enemies feared and respected us.

Focus on Supreme Court Justices who will be around for decades as the last line of defense in protecting and preserving Constitution rights (the next president could get up to three Supreme Court picks).

The Most Important Election of our Time

Joe Biden’s reckless policies have made a shambles of the economy, the borders are wide open and unguarded, crime is soaring, energy prices are out of control, and the world is a much more dangerous place.

Pray that China doesn’t try to take advantage of its perception of a weak America to invade Taiwan, just as Russia invaded Ukraine.

You often hear politicians say on the campaign trail that, “This is the most important election of our lifetime.”

Well, my friends, this is indeed the most important election of our lifetime. Never has there been an election in which only one of two fundamentally different ideologies of the future of America will be decided.

One is for an America based upon what our founders fought for, what the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution are all about, and one of One Nation Under God, with liberty and justice for all.

The other is a Socialist America that is just another member of a global community, one where our independent interests never come first. Four more years of the Biden Doctrine will permanently destroy the America we’ve known and what our forefathers passed on to us. And there’ll be no going back. If Biden is re-elected, the damage that can and will be done in the next four years will be irreversible.

Time to Choose

The choice is up to you. I pray that voters in Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia have a serious case of buyer's remorse. Because these are the states that will decide the fate of America.

Some voters may not be happy with the choices on offer, but complaining will get you and us nowhere. Focus instead on the choices you have.

For me, the option is simple, and I strongly urge you to vote along with me and rally behind President Trump.

If you have any doubt, I leave you with a quote from President Reagan. In discussing the destiny of America, he said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States, where men were free.”

Freedom isn’t free.

It must be fought for.

Our fight will take place in the voting booth next November.
