As a result, I find myself disagreeing with the broad Democratic platform on the need (or lack thereof) for border security and with transgender male athletes participating in women's sporting events.
Similarly, I hope that you will occasionally venture out of your silo to learn that, say, despite what the fossil fuel industry would like you to believe, climate change is not a hoax, or that you can still support Israel without defending their "right" to inflict untold horrors on the caught-in-the-middle Palestinian men, women and children. (FYI: Hamas is the enemy, not Palestine.)

I believe I may have a different slant on the Israel/Palestine conflict and yet I believe I have the same core feeling of small government being the superior one as most of the readers. I would have to very much disagree with you about the "climate change" hoax. It has to be one of the biggest boondoggles ever perpetrated on the world. That being said it doesn't mean there aren't changes that need to be made to clean the oceans. etc. The Current gives a fair platform for anyone (hopefully being respectful) to air their opinions and perhaps learn something useful. As for all the lies that you believe Trump is responsible for, what can I say? I can only shake my head and say that the proof is in the pudding. I am going to say something very sacrilegious to my MAGA friends. Even though I was a strong supporter of Gov DeSantis, if Nikki Haley was the Republican nominee, she would be leading in the polls by 10 points or more rather than the 2 or less by Trump. He expelled scores of Russian diplomats and killed hundreds of Russian mercenaries in Syria. He indicted at least 40 Russians for illegally influencing the 2016 election. He repeatedly denounced the Russian annexation of Crimea. He cut off foreign assistance to Russia. Finally he supported Ukraine on many occasions and condemned Russia for their aggressive behavior toward them. The bottom line is that Trump was a globalist; he didn't look away when our adversaries misbehaved.
