Very interesting analysis and observations. One phenomenon, not mentioned, is how quickly people who have not studied the details jump onboard certain ideologies. In my career I had responsibility for large energy programs and attended and presented at many conferences. A simple conclusion that I reached was that in terms of energy production: “There is no silver bullet (although there maybe silver buckshot) and there is no free lunch”. On the first part, the world’s demand for energy can be met by a myriad of sources but that begs an answer to the second part which is at what price? Every energy production has a downside. The in-depth published technical analyses, including holistic approaches, come back to nuclear energy and natural gas (no free lunches I know, but they are simply the cleanest). We are starting to see the lack of holistic thinking in the examples cited by Mr. Caldwell, that is, wind energy and Lithium production, not to mention the role of pollutants in actually reducing warming. This is why holistic studies, not short term political policies, are needed.

Interesting, yes everything has a down side. Yes there needs to be evolution in energy production. I think what most people object to is having it forced down our throats.

Reality is that “green” energy is not as green as it is advertised. It is also not as reliable as it is promoted. And it does affect the environment & planet around where it is installed, just as a coal plant affects the surrounding area.

As technology advances so will energy production. We need to evolve, not to be strong armed into falsely advertised ideologies that are driven by greed.

Your comment about the lithium fire reminded me of the explosion at Easington Colliery. My grandfather was the head engineer there - 81 miners were killed and he said he knew almost every one.

Thanks, Andy. And isn't it interesting how the wars the Biden administration has gotten us into and wants even more of are not seen as environmentally dangerous? I would imagine blowing up the Nord Stream caused more damage to the atmosphere than those pesky gas car and stove diehards ever will. In the midst of this top-down scammery, there are local people who are making a difference in a constructive and healthy way. Just one example is the Carpinteria seafood women owned business Get Hooked. They're quietly and sensibly doing more good than all the breast beating Green Energy con artists. https://gethookedseafood.com/pages/our-story I prefer to give people like that my money the old-fashioned way, by buying their actual products not their promises.

I read this article by Mr. Caldwell titled "The Health Hazards of Green Energy" that

should be titled "The Health Hazards of Public Corruption and Incompetence." and

I quote "Another is enantiodromia, from the ancient Greek, which posits that when things get to their extreme, they turn into their opposite." Since I studied Alexandrian Greek in College I will post.

Green Energy is the least of our concerns, and another diversion tactic, because the US is in turmoil and constant "Conflict" put into place AND maintained by a group of people in complete control.

I argue the true motivation is greed and power from the top.

Who stands to make the most money? What politicians are being paid to send manufacturing to foreign countries?

Now that we don’t manufacture things here what jobs are left for people?

And what qualifications do the millions of illegals have and what jobs will they be performing?

That leads into what is the purpose of education?

Education is to prepare our kids for the future, for careers to be a productive part of our society. As Rockefeller stated back in the day, “ I don’t want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers.” He wanted workers for his factories.

What is education preparing our kids for now?

When we look at CA ranked 44th of 50 states regarding academics and that over half the children can’t perform academics at grade level, have you asked what future is CA preparing our kids for? What are the job prospects for over half the children that cannot read or write at grade level?

Thank you Andy! Globalists are the modern-day "Pied Piper." 1300s and people haven't gotten any smarter! Those who create a belief/illusion for others to follow under false promises. While the green scam is important, I believe the paucity of comments tells that our minds are on the assassination attempt on Saturday. Donald Trump comported himself with courage the likes of which I have never seen from any leader living or dead. I am no longer afraid to fly a Trump 2024 flag and damned the consequences.

I’ve had a “Trump Won” bumper sticker on my truck since 2020…used to get alot of flack & middle finger pointing…nowadays I get more horn honks & thumps up…the tide has turned…

PS…fun story of Trump’s golf round yesterday…

“I'm a cart boy at Trump Bedminster, where Trump played today (just about 16 hours after getting nearly assassinated).

He was in high spirits, which was great. Took time to chat with a lot of the staff. Allowed us to follow him for a bit. There was a decently big group with him.

Anyway, I was able to watch him putt on the 9th green. He had about a 20 footer, with probably 2 feet of break.

Sure enough, he drains it and goes "Difference between me and the shooter is that I don't miss!"

Good Article on “Green Energy” and its environmental & social costs…Climate Change, just another scam on the American taxpayers...

When the US sends billions in aid and/or CLIMATE and/or etc who or what entity audits / tracks to confirm intended recipient(s) rec? None.

Our Country is controlled by individuals that run international crime syndicates (How does GeorgeSoros fund WW counter-event)…

The 'Con':

>Determine 'topic(s)' that have emotional pull (connect) on 'vocal' types

>Create media blitz [scare] campaign ('talking points')('alarmist')

>Use 'pro-narrative minded' authorities on subject to provide foundation to support

>Deploy 'circular reporting' and 'group-think' tactics (echo chamber) to artificially raise 'public outcry'

>Use 'public outcry' to justify billion dollar taxpayer spend

>Rinse/repeat

Who audits where the money goes?

% to original mandate?

Salary of a US Senator?

Salary of a US Congressman/woman?

Salary of a US President?

Salary of a US Vice President?

Net worth pre_office?

Net worth post_office?

How do elected officials become mega/multi-millionaires?

Corruption.

Logical thinking...think C19 plandemic...

US taxpayers paying for it all!!!

Great article. I have wondered for a long time what happens to all the batteries and especially here in Santa Barbara with all the e-bikes, does anyone know where all the dead batteries are stored ? Is there a special place they are taken to?.

I heard a commentator mention recently that the two major components of politics are money and emotion. The Green New Deal manifests both in huge quantiles. In the rush to save the planet from the dire predictions of putative environmental catastrophe, certain fanatics have lost their minds in pouring money into wind turbines and solar panels that are already doing damage to the oceans and deserts. Added to this, the turn away from fossil fuels has contributed mightily to the rise in the cost of energy from this primary source and contributed to overall inflation in the American economy. These negative outcomes seem obvious to the sane mind, and the public seems to be catching on and public opinion is turning against the emotional overreaction of the Green New Deal. Even in so-called environmentally progressive California, the Governor has come a little bit to his senses, seeking to keep open the Diablo Canyon nuclear plant. The Great Awakening is gaining momentum and equilibrium is asserting itself.
