No doubt places in Mexico are unsafe. However there’s more to the Los Angeles riots and those in other cities. Please post what you know. BEFORE ATTENDING Saturday, ‘No King’ protest, know what you’re attending. Please do your homework: who’s involved, who’s funding it. These protests are about the future survival of our country funded by dark money. Who funds IndivisibleSB and nationally? Who is the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), but a socialist group tied to pro-Chinese Communist Party (CCP) millionaire American Neville Singham and others in the CCP. Isn’t the Communist Chinese Party an identified prospective threat across the Pacific?

A taxpayer grant supported organization behind the LA anti-ICE demonstrations, and No King, is The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, CHIRLA, an open border advocacy group. The Open Society Foundation has ties to the Coalition.

The State of California has given the Coalition a massive amount of money in grants, about $34 million in 2023 alone. In addition, the Biden administration gave the Coalition almost $200,000 in 2023. So, in effect, taxpayer money is funding the violent protests we’ve observed since last Friday plus those planned Saturday, Flag Day. Ask yourself: why is this? The FBI is investigating.

Isn’t it possible that this week’s L.A. protests, Saturday’s No King demonstrations, are not about ICE or Trump or legal and political concerns? Rather, aren’t these protests dark money funded for a different reason? Could it be that our tax dollars are being used by our elected leaders to fund nihilists and anarchists while the truth is withheld by the media?

Looks like there’s an effort to further divide our country, and Santa Barbara community. Seek the truth. UNITE AS NEIGHBORS & AMERICANS. Stay vigilant. Help inform others.

Local ‘No King’ Protest will be a human chain Saturday at Chase Palm Park. It is sponsored by several local tax exempt, tax & donor supported NPOs. Check on line at SBIndividible.

LA Wasn’t a Protest — It Was an Insurrection

This was no protest.

It was a deliberate, violent confrontation with federal authority.

Under federal law, this behavior constitutes:

18 U.S. Code §115 — Threats or retaliation against federal officers

18 U.S. Code §1503 — Obstruction of justice

18 U.S. Code §2384 — Seditious conspiracy:

“…to oppose by force the authority of the United States…”

This isn’t just a street fight.

It’s a movement of organized, ideological resistance to U.S. law, U.S. agents, and U.S. sovereignty.

Mexico's claim that the Southern USA is really "Mexican land" is silly. Spain controlled the area for 300 years. The United States has controlled it for 250 years. Mexico only managed to hang on to it for, drum roll here...27 years. From when Spain granted Mexico independence in 1821, to when Mexico lost the land by giving it away in the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848, was 27 years. I could see Spain making some crazy claim, the USA claim is concrete, but Mexico hanging on to a land for 27 years that was controlled by other nations for 550 years is just a fantasy.

The ongoing problem of Mexico as a failing, narco terrorist state is nothing new and has been going on for some time. We can no longer view Mexico as a friend, neighbor and ally, but rather a hostile actor.

The outrageous insurrection going on in our cities across the country is nothing shy of a planned attack on our democracy, perpetrated by a variety of groups cheering for our downfall. Immigration advocacy groups, SEIU, Antifa, CCP, Democrats, NGO’s and others are all colluding, working in concert to flood the zone with as much mayhem and destruction as possible. What’s next, wild fires suddenly ignite to further bring down our state and cripple our emergency services?

The images of burning American flags, burning, looting, raising the Mexican flags should be imprinted in our minds as to what the goals of these groups are. We must remember those protesting and marching in favor of this on Saturday.

Gavin Newsom, Karen Bass, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff, Salud Carbajal and others must all be held accountable for the systematic takeover of our state by criminals.

Waiting for a civil war? Stop waiting, it’s here! Worried about a race war? “Viva La Raza”…Long live the race!

Cesar Chavez, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump all once stood for common-sense immigration control.

They all understood, in their own time and their own tone, that uncontrolled illegal immigration erodes a nation’s workforce, weakens its laws, and tears at the very idea of national sovereignty.

Emmett, please re-post link to your excellent article on immigration positions of past presidents and Cesar Chavez that I read on-line. Illegal entry and overstays are a non-partisan issue.

The Olympic Committee must be real nervous about LA hosting the event in 2028. Athletes deserve better than this.

To Democratic Representative, Carbajal

Your party has become the symbol of crime, chaos and lawlessness. The Democratic chaos we see today in LA is the result of you Democrats opening up the southern boarder to any and all without any pedigree papers. Many are criminals and are causing terror all over this country. Terrorists are trying to protect the criminals. And that stupid Democrat LA mayor, Cass and Governor Newsom are refusing to stop the terrorist. Many are foreign subversives carrying Mexican flags to undermine our great Country. The Biden Government, of which you are a member, gave federal funds to these NGOs who are paying terrorists to burn cars, steal from stores and destroy Asian businesses. Thank God, President Trump was elected and is stopping this violence with the local police, the National Guard and if, necessary, The US Marines. You, Carbajal represent this mayhem by your party and you are responsible for it. You should resign in disgrace.

The Left wants to turn America into a place where they are fully protected by the law to break the law. I am sick and tired of reading comments here by protest-sympatico idiots who are unbelievably fortunate to live in a place where they can rant and fume about how big bad Trump is a dictator because he'd like to deny them the opportunity to ruin everyone else's summer with this destruction. And then, having done their hard work for the day, they go to the beach and get high. And because they have such a strong work ethic, they take out their phones and write a few more comments, usually unreadably insane and with drunken misspellings. Life is so effing hard under The King, isn't it?

Education = Indoctrination

It came straight from the 1969 Plan de Santa Barbara, which openly declares:

“We must reject assimilation and integration as the means to achieve equality.”

This is required teaching by CA education to graduate.

Can’t pay me enough to go to Mexico.

I had several buisnesses in the 90’s down there. The corruption is unbelievable.

Simple, data based, and ends with good advice. I sense most people now have a basic understanding that these regular occurrences are NOT peaceful protests, they are an attack on our Country. In my humble opinion, the quicker this movement can be squashed, the more effective. Thank you for the detailed info...I enjoy Mexico and I am sad it has collapsed under the heels of criminal drug cartels. I won't travel there until they reform their governance. Blessings.

Bernard Gans's avatar

If illegal immigration is allowed to continue and to exist in the U.S. , how long will it be until the Mexican drug cartels take control of our cities?

Don’t fool yourself. They are already here.

Most of this article is a list of ‘dangerous’ Mexican states with ‘dangerous’ being defined by the State Department. It appears that the author assumes that all the protesters are from Mexico. They aren’t. It appears that the author believes that anarchy reigns in Los Angeles. It doesn’t. And, as for the accuracy of government provided lists. the United States of America (i.e. ‘us’) is listed as a dangerous place to visit by multiple European countries. In short, the conclusion is unrelated to the problem statement and the intervening prose is pointless.

Chuck Burwell's avatar

Most Americans can see that this is a fabricated invasion by the Trump administration to get the narrative off of the economy, tariffs, Ukraine and Israel. Trump is trying hard to pour gasoline on a small fire in LA. These protestors are American citizens, not invaders. This weekend you will see a lot more citizens for Democracy marching across America.

Montecito93108's avatar

How do you know who they are? “These protestors are American citizens, not invaders”.

Chuck Burwell's avatar

Because if they were not citizens ICE would be picking them up.

Montecito93108's avatar

CB- ICE lacks the resources to pick them up. Workforce capacity is extremely limited. How do YOU know a citizen from a person unlawfully here? How is a distinction made between an illegal resident and a citizen? Language? English is the ‘official language’ in the CA Constitution, however some illegals are bu-lingual.
