Appreciate link. Eating a balanced diet, and getting quarterly blood tests to monitor one’s own health is easiest and cheapest plus no med insurance required. Our culture promotes fear that leads to anxiety. There’s too much to know about most every topic. Thank you. Re Dr. Campbells - his coverage of the pandemic changed drastically over time. Over time, Dr. Campbell began to publish speculation that confused correlation with causation. On one occasion, Dr. Campbell was criticized by the authors of an abstract, with only preliminary data, for misrepresenting their abstract as a, ‘great thought out study' at a time where randomized controlled trials are being conducted.
As for Ivermectin, Dr. Campbell has never revisited Ivermectin following the numerous clinical trial that find no support for Ivermectin as either a prophylactic or treatment. My knowledge of recent studies re Ivermectin is dated, so there may be more recent studies that show some support.
Regardless, it is concerning to me for an internist to reference someone like John Campbell who is not a researcher and has a recent history of grossly misinterpreting data and misrepresenting and overrepresenting the results of studies.
Ivermectin is much less hotly debated now, but if Campbell had cited it, he likely would have been cancelled. That said, he's a force for good. Everyone can learn (when it comes to the jabs, he's changed his view with the changing facts.). That's integrity.
Vitamin D is a seco-steroidal pro hormone. This is NOT a vitamin and the scientific and medical profession need to stop calling it that. Second, depending on which part of the world someone is from, for example, I'm Indian and grew up in Mumbai at 19 degrees latitude above the equator, you need much much more vitamin D. Third, vitamin D3 has co factors beyond vitamin k2. You need magnesium (preferably transdermal, as skin and feet soaked in magnesium chloride flakes absorb 98% as opposed to 10% absorbtion orally), then you need zinc, boron and the beta carotene form of vitamin A. These co factors need to be taken as they get depleted when you start supplementing only vitamin d3 with k2. Also, the threshold ranges of 30 to 70 ng/mL is a joke. The levels of vitamin d3 need to be north of 100 ng/mL for bullet proof health, and 150 ng/mL and above if you want to get RID of cancers and auto immune diseases. Yes, at higher thresholds of 150 ng/mL, vitamin d3 gets rid of cancers and auto immune diseases. There is some excellent research on this from Dr. Coimbra called the Coimbra protocol from Brazil. 5000 iu of vitamin d3 does not do much, one needs to take a minimum of 10,000 iu to start with, with co factors mentioned above. Scientists and doctors not doing any valuable and real research has caused a travesty and massive deficiencies in the general public. Vitamin D3 is also a potent tissue remodeler and remodels bone and other connective tissue. This is why when you take 10,000 iu and above, the aches and pains stop in their tracks. You can thank me later for all this information.
Some interesting ideas. Not calling D a “vitamin” is a reasonable observation. Call it what you want, just take it! just try to remember that fat soluble vitamins D E A and K have the potential for toxicity.
5000 units is a lot more than the RDA ( around 800 units)
This just shows that people need to do this under the supervision of someone who knows medicine

Dr Aijian, Any thoughts about what is causing the often months long respiritory illnesses in Santa Barbara … wider areas? I’m interested in whether the Covid vaccines, or Covid itself may have reduced our immune response. And would something like Ivermectin restore this function?

John Campbell is a brilliant and seemingly humble person, who has a career as an educator
He has written textbooks and is followed by a huge group of people who happily sit under his teaching
He laboriously cites every claim he makes and gives the links to the research he references
He has managed to avoid being cancelled by You Tube
If he cites an article as a pre print, he makes that clear
