Well said. In our town there are still many who cling to the progressive ideology that Biden and his handlers represent. Let’s talk about Carbajal, Newsom, Hartman, Das, Limon, Hart, yada yada. It’s a truly nauseating list which is way too long. These are the people who impose the evil ideologies exemplified by the Biden administration. We need to vote them out, starting at the level of school board, all the way to the White House. The incessant whining about Trump is a diversionary tactic. The ones they despise are most of the readers and contributors to the Current- US. Faith in God, family values, marriage between a man and a woman, the 10 commandments, love your neighbor as you love yourself, etc are the bedrock of our nation. These are the values under attack and scorned by the elites in the MSM, academia, entertainment, and even parts of the church are corrupted. Trump is a symbol, not the issue. So is Biden.

Very well said by a wellness expert! You have this correct and treatment by Biden's power hungry wife is unreported elder abuse. Is it possible to be "mind ridden" just like bedridden.

Enlightenment and liberal values are the foundation of America, not Christian values. Many of the founding fathers were freemasons and even one was a deist, as much as contemporary conservatives like to romanticize the founders of America and its roots, America's founding fathers and roots are in stark contrast to genuine Christian values. Democracy (popular will), individualism, and relativism are anything but Christian. The will of God, strong moral leadership, communal welfare, and objective moral truths are Christian values.

If you want a nation and leader that truly embodies Christian values, look to the Kingdom of France and St. King Louis IX. A pious man who fought in the crusades, who allowed his faith to influence his policy making decisions, among the first to implement the presumption of innocence in criminal trials, and forbade prostitution and blasphemy among many other achievements.

Expand full comment

You must read and add a bit of Judeo-Christian ethics to the broader founding soup.

I know a bit about Masonic entities and crusaders as well. The Knights Templar ended up on Malta. These were good guys. Hospitalers, or early "social workers" fighting Turks.

The point from Christianity is to love God before Country, which is run by mortals, not intent on loving neighbors and being of good works in a peaceful life. Democracy is not just individual will, but collective consciousness as we practice it now, with a Democratic Republic model allowing for dissent against Kings and Rulers.

Right now we are in a mess with King Biden lover of his how lies and myths. Louis IX may have been pious but banning prostitution and "blasphemy" doesn't lead to dialogue and free speech, a key foundation in our French-inspired democratic ( little D) leaning institutions after hundreds of years. The point is ---what is going on? The point? Nothing holy, except "holy cow" amazement at ignorance.

Democracy is collective will, and the will of the peolle should never triumph over the will of God. The foundation principles of America are against traditional Christian values and views on government, the explicity secular nature of the government is one of the most obvious signs of the rejection of Christian beliefs. Free speech is not a Christian value, we should obviously prevent any speech that is deviant and in opposition to moral truths and values. In a Catholic monarchy people did love their neighbors, they focus was on communities and the welfare of the people, as opposed to the mess of hyper individualism that exists in America where people only care for themselves and their own material success.

Good article Mr. Shulte! It is indeed a mortal sin but so much worse. I don't have the words to adequately describe the mainstream media, an idiot like Joe Scarborough's radically inverted claims that this is the best Biden ever must ring in the halls of hell as emblematic of how satan wants us to abuse speech, but it is much more than just Biden, look at the pandemic propaganda, the Jan 6th farce, the green agenda, "climate crisis", gender ideology, and so many more society destroying agendas that this corrupted industry propagates like they are getting paid in gold bars to lie. How are so many fooled? The public schools and universities condition the masses in this war of intellectual and moral attrition.

Excellent article of the obvious. As we can see in Europe, they tried to promote the same Liberal agenda and it failed. Italy has a new conservative leader and so does Norway. It looks like France is on its way toward positive change (this Sunday we will see). And the English are beginning to get their game together. Europe is so battered by the criminal elements of other countries that have "slivered" into their communities. But the question is, will Americans see the light and protect their women and children that are being subjected to rape, murder, and fear?? Wake up you Cowards.

Scary thing is although they might talk Joe out of his candidacy… why is he still President? And how many of those around him have blatantly lied to us about his mental health? My mom, who is 93 and also with progressing dementia that she didn’t have before 3 jabs, thinks he’s fine and laughs at the idea he has dementia. She only gets her information from the TV. and doesn’t see his tripping, falling, stuttering, forgetting his train of thought, ending a sentence mod-stream with ‘oh nevermind’, lying, and making stuff up that never happened.

I am in the same boat with my mom of 93 years- after all the vaxes- turbo cancer- no way to confirm attribution, but one with eyes open can hardly be blamed for suspicion. Fight for Trump he’s fighting for every one of US!!! (love letter to Nancy Freeman…😎)…

the fake corrupt politicians, big tech, fake news, the puppet masters are all panicking like we've never seen before. Remember, they need to get rid of Trump any way they possibly can. They tried everything since 2016, and now they're running out of ammunition, which means they're gonna take things to the next level.

BUT…think about what happened at the supreme court...came out with a presidential immunity ruling that's better than we could ever imagine by ruling the president immune for official business actions that follow the constitution and unofficial acts are not immune...

Do you think Obama sending pallets of cash to Iran was part of his official business? think using private emails to discuss treason and uranium deals was part of official business? think bringing in all these illegals without vetting them, actually just flying them in here, is official business that follows the constitution? No?

Trump is bringing the individuals who he wants into focus — ultimately that's gonna be the Clintons and the Obamas...people are going to see the crimes that they have committed, information's going to be brought out into the open...

Trump got what he needed, and the lawfare against him is falling away...it's time to bring these people out from the shadows into the light...the public is going to learn certain things about these individuals, information that they never knew about...

add on top of that, we just got the information and the court records for Epstein...Remember, they were secret for 16 years (thank you Ron DeSantis)...

also gonna get information from Assange about the DNC, about Hillary Clinton, her email server, and many other things...

we also know that Joe Biden had shell companies…Biden was working for foreign governments…

so, the supreme court ruling allows the DOJ to go after these individuals after Trump is reelected...remember when they spied on Trump? Was that an official act? No. It wasn't.

It is very obvious that Joe is not the one calling the shots. He is not the decision maker.

It is obvious Dr Jill is his immediate handler, but who is telling her what to do?

Here’s the obvious truth that everyone except Democrat Voters know. Joe is and has always been unfit, in a state of mental decline over the years. The media knew, the women from the View, Robert De Niro, the Senate, Pelosi, Schumer, Newsom, Dr Jill, they all knew.

Here’s the kicker, the week before the debate they all fully denied there was anything wrong. Now a week later all of a sudden they are all calling for Biden to step down.

Talk about a coordinated effort, to get all those different groups to move together like a school of fish and say the exact same thing at the exact same time.

So who’s calling the shots? Who’s telling the media, Pelosi, De Niro what to do?

Who’s really running things in America? It ain’t Joe. Never has been, he’s been a puppet.

But Democrat Voters will still deny there’s something fishy in DC. Ignorance, or pride? Do Dem Voters deep down know they’ve been duped? Or are they really just mindless zombies part of the Deep State Cult?

They’ve fallen for the “the orange man is bad” and will vote for a mentally incompetent person. WOW, idiocracy at its best!

Here’s a bigger scam, the whole world, even Corporate media says Joe has to go. So, if Joe is selected as the Democratic nominee on August 19, what does that say about the DC Crime Syndicate? Democrats willfully select an unfit leader? It is obvious to the squirrels that Joe has lost his nuts.

Then it becomes even more obvious that they will sub Joe out in September. Come on man!

Are Democratic voters are this naive? They’ll fall for the bait & switch when they announce a new candidate and they’ll mindlessly fall in line.

What will it take to wake up the Democratic Voter that they are being manipulated?

The Deep State is very real, and the reason I fear that no one man (Trump or RFK, Jr, et al) will be able to drain the swamp. We have a much more serious problem than that and that is all the systems that have been put in place to allow this to happen; Education being at the top of the list, health care, military industrial complex, IRS, DOJ, CIA, FBI, Social Media (wasn't Zuckerberg rumored to be son of some CIA guy?) MSM, etc ... as for the coordination of these things, I think that AI is already running the show, and I do NOT believe it is humans behind it all...we are too stupid and don't live long enough to truly benefit from this long term plan.

I'll go all crazy here and say our real leaders hide in the shadows, maybe not even on this planet. Annunaki? Reptilians? who knows. You know that left eye black eye that a lot of politicians and other famous people come up with (including recently RFK, Jr who had a wicked looking wound on his left eye and forehead) I imagine some huge f'er telling them how it's going to go and then back-handing them with a vicious slap to make it real.

I am astounded that boss Obama is not implicated with Biden's international misdeeds while VP! Trump's clear and rational attacks on the politician/bureaucrat deep state was too much and upset the corrupt status quo. We all saw the reaction; I'd call it attempted coup d' tat. Any Dems' candidate will come with the same "message", so better to confront the policies, not the candidate. Hopefully, the run-up to this election will unveil more corrupt and inadequate tactics of this administration making a difference at the November polls.

Years ago, when i really work up, I decided I was no longer going to pay taxes. I realized most of the money was being misappropriated (a nice way to say stolen) so for 10 years, I paid no Federal taxes...didn't file either. I was living in Mexico at the time. However, as soon as I came back to the States and got on a payroll, the IRS was up my butt SO FAST for a measly $20,000+. I'm still paying it off. I barely make enough as it is to live here and wouldn't be able to if I didn't have a free place to stay and a free vehicle to use.

I still stand by my conviction, though, that we should be able to mark on our tax form how we want the money used. As a former soldier, I would NEVER vote for war, or supporting a war, or supporting a foreign country at war. I'm still under oath, and WILL fight, if it comes to that.

BUT….. when “they” are starting to unfairly burden all of those of us (barely 50% of the population now) who do get up and go to work, or put the key into the door of our shop each day, whether we like it or not, AND they no longer even pretend to listen to our concerns, and they call us unfair names and so on. Then i will try to get their attention. So in my dream - what if millions of us hung a sign up on our stores, on our websites, sat at home or better in a chair on a sidewalk and silently held signs that “we the taxpayers are on strike” No one (yet!) can force me to work!!! The growth of populism in this country, which Democrats keep portraying as a very bad thing, proves change does come from the bottom up; not from the top down. And not from top down bumper sticker slogans like "hope and change".

How can any Democrat claim the rise of populism is the death of democracy. Populism is democracy; channeling into our representative system of governance. Populism bubbling up from political discontent is not mob rule. Its native energies, constrained within the limits of our US Constitution, is how we....... "keep our Republic, ma'am".

I don't think the rise of populism is neccessarly bad. It has pros and cons. On the pro side It can increase political engagement of a wider group of folks and also highlight neglected issues. But on the other hand, in my view, it can it can erode democratic norms, polarize society, and undermine institutional checks on power. I'm guessing many on this forum might be in favor of of eroding norms.... I guess I could see that both ways - depending on what the norms were replaced with.

Half the electorate cumulatively has a vested interest making sure Democrats keep signing their paychecks, and handing out their perks and pensions. That creates a very distorted electorate.

It is not really "hate" driving this national division; but pure greed. How to protect living solely off US taxpayers - OPM - that is the fundamental division. It makes one side existentially invested in winning elections - that is the new phenomenon.

Factor this in to any assessment about a now permanently "divided" nation.
